Dexterous Endoscopes is an EPFL spin-off project born from over eight years of cutting-edge research in stiffness modulation of medical devices. This expertise is demonstrated by numerous high-impact journal publications and patents developed in close collaboration with clinicians.

Inspired by Switzerland’s excellence in medical devices, robotics, and medicine, we are creating advanced variable stiffness endoscopes that can navigate and operate in the most difficult-to-reach areas.

Our first product targets indications in the sinuses and larynx, where current tools face limitations in access and control.
