Our first product, a scope for ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeries called the Variable Stiffness ENTscope, unlocks new minimally invasive sinus procedures in difficult-to-reach areas and improves speed and control in complex larynx surgeries.

Our variable stiffness ENTscope enables new types of minimally invasive procedures in difficult-to-reach areas of the sinuses, thanks to improved applied force and dexterity compared to conventional rigid and flexible tools. In larynx surgeries, it enhances tip stability, allowing high-precision tissue dissection during complex procedures in hard-to-reach areas.

The people behind Dexterous Endoscopes

Dexterous Endoscopes is an EPFL spin-off project born from over eight years of cutting-edge research in stiffness modulation of medical devices. Our first product targets indications in the sinuses and larynx, where current tools face limitations in access and control.
