Founded, a Swiss startup media, published a feature on Dexterous Endoscopes and the problem we are solving in the operating room. Surgeons today must choose between flexible instruments that navigate well but lack force, and rigid instruments that are precise but limited in reach. Our variable stiffness endoscope addresses this trade-off directly, transitioning between soft and rigid states on demand with a simple button press, without requiring any new infrastructure in the operating room.
