Dexterous Endoscopes now has its office at Biopôle, the life sciences campus in Lausanne, and has been awarded CHF 63,000 in non-dilutive funding from the Biopôle Starting Fund.
For a medtech startup, there is no better place to grow. Biopôle is home to more than 180 life sciences companies and a community of over 3,500 people, from startups to multinationals, alongside five major research institutes including Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). This gives us lab space, a strong medtech network and close access to the clinicians we work with every day.
The funding will support our lab infrastructure, key hires and expert services as we advance our variable stiffness endoscope through preclinical validation. The programme also includes Investment Readiness Training to prepare the company for its next fundraising round.
